NetOne rolls out freedom bundles

State-owned mobile network operator NetOne has launched a new suite of freedom bundles aimed at making digital connectivity more affordable and flexible, as the company seeks to expand access to communication services and support Zimbabwe’s digital transformation agenda.

The new packages are designed to meet changing consumer preferences, particularly the growing demand for affordable internet access and integrated communication services. By combining voice calls, SMS and mobile data into a single subscription, NetOne says the bundles offer greater value while easing the cost burden on households.

NetOne said the freedom bundles were developed on the premise that communication should be an enabler of economic and social opportunity rather than a barrier. The packages are structured to cater for different income groups and usage patterns, allowing subscribers to choose options that best suit their everyday communication needs.

“Customers’ needs have evolved. People are no longer relying on voice alone; they want data for work, learning and everyday life, while also enjoying the convenience of voice calls and SMS within the same subscription,” the company said.

In a related development, NetOne has enhanced its popular Dollar-A-Day (DAD) Bundle to provide a more comprehensive daily connectivity package. The upgraded offering combines voice, SMS and mobile data in a single daily subscription, targeting customers seeking reliable and cost-effective connectivity for both personal and business use.
