Seh Calaz drops new album

Popular Zimdancehall  musician, Tawanda Mumanyi aka Seh Calaz (pictured left) launched  a new album titled Bvopfiro Pariro at the Mbare Netball Complex last Saturday.

The show to celebrate the 12-track album, was filled up to the brim with fellow colleagues gracing the event to support their own.

The likes of Chillspot Records (Fantan and Levels), Bazooker, Kinnah and Ndunge Yut, among others spiced the show to celebrate the new offering.

At the launch, Seh Calaz, gave his best powered by the Convicts Band, he rocked the show.

Elsewhere,  several DJs including Judgment Yard and Jason Le Loux, among many others, entertained revellers at  the cook out event held at the Alex Sports Club,in Milton Park last Sunday.

The event was chilled and relaxed and very good for those who want to enjoy the good vibes and good music.

In the resort town of Victoria Falls,  tourists enjoyed the 10th edition of the Carnival which ran from  last Friday to Sunday.

A lot of exciting tourist related activities were part and  parcel of the Carnival.

Musically, there was great disappointment as the South Africa- based artists, Shasha, Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa failed to turn up for the carnival.

It is alleged they were fully paid in advance for the show  but failed to turn up for the event.

However, local artistes gave their best shots to entertain the crowd.

Gemma gave an impressive performance.

Other local acts like the Def Jam Africa signed Asaph and Flying Bantu, did not disappoint too, as they electrified the carnival with splendid performances.

Nutty O, was also the talk of the show.

Fans wrestled and competed with him to sing along to his catalogue of hits.

Just like himself, the crowd proved that Havapere Power as well, they sang along with him from the first and last song effortlessly.

This was a platform for him to market himself because the Carnival attracted a regional audience and it reveals that he is evolving from Zimdancehall to Afro Dancehall which enjoys a massive global audience.

Could he be the next Burna Boy or Patoranking ?
