ZiFM Stereo journalist lands NAMA

ZiFM Stereo News and Current Affairs Producer Anesu Masamvu is this year’s winner of the NAMA Outstanding Radio Journalist award.

Masamvu pipped two other journalists from National FM and Star FM to land the gong.

Masamvu was recognised for his current affairs programmes and digital platforms with different arts sector players.

“I have been putting a lot of effort over the years and with the coming in of digital platforms, I have seen myself growing and adopting the arena, the strength I believe every enterprising journalist should really consider,” said Masamvu.

“I will continue to work very hard; I have set the bar for myself and I want to surpass that and contribute meaningfully to AB Communications, an organisation that has housed me for close to five years and has allowed me to express myself.”

Other notable winners were musician Ti Gonzi who scooped two awards, Best Male Musician and Song of the year, Kure Kure, which he featured with Ishan who also won Best New Comer of the year gong.
