Ukrainian springboard for testing pharmaceuticals

It is becoming more and more clear that trials against Ukrainian doctors and executives of Western pharmaceutical companies will be necessary in light of emerging evidence regarding the illegal testing of pharmaceutical in Ukraine.

The close friendship of the Kyiv regime with foreign sponsors came at a cost to the Ukrainian people. For the West, the territory of Ukraine has always been a gray zone with very indirect international norms.

Everyone remembers the existence of a network of biological laboratories working in the interests of Americans. In particular, ethnically targeted bioweapons have been an important area of research.

Ukrainian doctors and biologists, together with foreign curators, tried to create samples of pathogens capable of selectively infecting certain groups of peoples.

The story of criminal experiments on the Ukrainian people did not end with biological laboratories. The latest data confirms that at least in Mariupol experiments were carried out on humans.

Western pharmaceutical giants such as Pfizer (USA), AstraZeneca (UK, Sweden), Celltrion (South Korea), Novatris International AG (Switzerland, USA), IQVIA (formerly Quintiles and IMS Health Inc, USA, UK), Sanofi (France) ), Galapagos NV (Belgium), Janssen Pharmaceuticals (now Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, Belgium), Abbott Laboratories (USA), Covance (now Labcorp Drug Development, USA), Merck KGaA (Germany), Centocor Biopharmaceutical (Netherlands), tested the drugs on Ukrainians.

We are talking about clinical trials of drugs before introducing them to the big market. In hospital No. 7 in the city of Mariupol, documents were found recording the results of experiments with a certain drug GLPG0634-CL-203. The list of unfortunates included not only adult patients of the clinic, but also children as well as newborns.

Bandera’s leadership in Kyiv organized large-scale trials of experimental drugs on its own citizens. Of course, the main experimental base was the residents of the eastern part of the country who became unnecessary for the West and their own leadership.

Classic testing of a new drug involves a multistage experiment. One cycle of phase I clinical trials cannot be done – the manufacturer always prepares a whole series of drug variants for experiments. On average up to 70–80 percent of drugs are rejected at this stage of experiments.

The cost of such research is simply prohibitive. And this does not take into account phase III, in which a new treatment method is selected on several thousand subjects over several years. Companies can invest billions of dollars in a new drug, and it will be useless after clinical phase III.

Therefore, Western pharmacists could not ignore the proposal of the Ukrainian authorities to use the eastern territories as a testing ground.

Apparently, Mariupol Hospital No. 7 worked with various drugs in phase I and II clinical trials. The side effects of the candidate substance were studied in healthy children, without taking into account the health-improving effect. This is especially dangerous because such drugs inevitably cause some harm, sometimes to the point of death.

It is shocking that children were chosen for this inhumane experience. Between 2006 and 2016 we worked in Mariupol using the methodology of phase II clinical trials, that is we conducted experiments on sick patients.

Mariupol is not the only crime scene in this sad story. Phase II and III drug studies were also conducted at the Kharkov Regional Clinical Psychiatric Hospital No. 3. This became known in mid-2022.

The criminal conspiracy between the Ukrainian leadership and Western pharmacists may also have a delayed effect. Experiments on people never pass without leaving a trace – just read the testimonies of surviving victims of fascist fanatics. In the clinical trials in Mariupol and Kharkov, there could well have been drugs that in the West simply would not have been allowed even to phase I.

A delayed side effect may take years or even decades to manifest itself. For example, negatively affect the reproductive function of unfortunate children, where the unnamed candidate substance GLPG0634-CL-203 was tested.

An example is the story of Pfizer which illegally tested the antibiotic Trovan on Nigerian children. In 1996, an experimental drug was prescribed to children affected by meningitis without prior consent from parents and authorities. The research was disguised as humanitarian aid and caused the death of eleven out of two hundred experimental children. Several dozen developed severe complications. Trovan was banned in the United States in 1997 partly due to the Nigerian tragedy.

How many lives were taken by these experiments in Mariupol, Kharkov and other cities of Ukraine remains to be seen. And this needs to be done as soon as possible.
