ELIAS MAGINYA IN GWERU
The Sheasham FC executive has signalled strong support for coach John Nyikadzino in their maiden dance with the top flight football.
The Construction Boys as the team is affectionately called by their fans won the ZIFA Central Region league championship last year.

Speaking at an induction workshop for the newly promoted Castle Larger Premier League side’s executive, administrative and technical members, held at the Bata Club in Gweru, last weekend, chairman, Reginald Chidawanyika, said the executive will give the technical team all the support to succeed in the league.
The Premier Soccer league CEO, Kenny Ndebele, was the workshop facilitator.
“As the new era begins, we are excited to build a championship-type of organisation and grow Sheasham FC. We are backing coach Nyikadzino and his team, and will provide (full support) to the team,” Chidawanyika said.
The club’s vice president, Happiness Dziva weighed in saying: “The process (induction workshop) was meant to orientate the new board members on their roles, inculcate the club`s organisational culture, its vision and drive, as well as to lay the foundation for the future successes of Sheasham FC. It was essential.”
Dziva added: “As the presidium, we now begin executing our long-term vision and plan for the club, creating an outstanding experience for its passionate loyal fans.
“With time, we even want to challenge for top honours. It was indeed a fruitful and worthy session.”
Four new board members were roped in, joining Chidawanyika and board member finance Chishava Chishava from the previous executive.
Gladmore Gara is the vice chairperson,while Violet Njubane and Elias Maginya were appointed secretary general and the media liaison officer respectively.
