Since the adoption of the Divisionalisation strategy, PSMI through one of its strategic imperatives Brand Value Proposition has been on a marketing blitz to create brand awareness and brand visibility. These efforts have however been recognised and measured by Zimbabweans through Megafest Holdings who have awarded PSMI the Best Marketed Organisation of the Year 2018.
This was a testimony that PSMI is indeed walking the talk where the organisation puts to practice everything they put on paper. In 2018, the organisation embarked on a massive rebranding of all its Units across the country installing signage comprising monoliths, directional signs and ordinary signage.
The company escalated its visibility campaign through the rollout of a pool motor vehicle branding “kwese” which has taken the market by storm.
PSMI also participated in various shows like Harare Agricultural Show, Mutare Show, Midlands Show, Marondera Show and Mine Entra. The company scooped 1st prizes at Midlands Show and Mine Entra. This was testimony that the brand is a force to reckon with in the industry.
PSMI’s presence on social media has increased and also the organisation introduced an interactive website where customers constantly get updates on new products. Through its marketing initiatives, PSMI enjoys positive media coverage on radio and ZBC TV.
PSMI has a Sales department within the Business Performance Department with experts who knock on possible partners and customers doors to market the business and last year alone, the organisation signed 56 Service Level Agreements and recruited 111 277 members.
The organisation has employees who believe in their brand and behave the PSMI way which makes the brand the envy of many. It is because of the unity of purpose guided by our strategy that has resulted in the market recognising PSMI at a national level 2 years in a row.
