Leave the country, Zanu PF warn saboteurs

Zanu PF vice president Kembo Mohadi has threatened to kick out businesses that are not following the country’s laws by engaging in unscrupulous activities fuelling inflation.
He was speaking during his party’s campaign rally in Epworth on Tuesday.
“We are winning the financial war as evidenced by the falling exchange rates. Prices have started to fall and the expectation is once the old stock is finished, we are going to have cheaper products,” he said.
“Those who do not want to reduce commodities prices should leave the country,” he said.
Mohadi said the government remains committed to ensuring clean and constant water supply by rehabilitation of Morton Jaffray water works and the Presidential Borehole scheme introduced by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
In the mining sector, Mohadi said the government has managed to grow from US$3bn to a US$12bn mining economy.
He added that Zanu PF was poised for a major victory in all provinces capitalising from the opposition’s numerous blunders including double candidates and the nomination court chaos that has seen them losing 12 seats in Bulawayo province.
“Zanu PF is different from all other opposition parties that have been in operation for 23 years yet nothing has changed and things have become worse. Roads that were left in better condition are now full with potholes, and waste collection is not taking place. It’s time to kick them out.”
