Harare’s showbiz calendar has been graced by yet another exciting show featuring two South African rappers Kay Bee and Cassper Nyovest who are set to share stage at Glamis Arena on the 22nd of September.

The gig presents an opportunity for local artists looking to collaborate with the two hit makers.

Musicians that include Jah Signal, EX Q, Takura, Freeman, Dhadza D and Shasha are billed to perform at the same concert.

Cassper Nyovest has already sent a video clip on social media promising fans a great performance.

The last time Nyovest was in town he left Hararians satisfied with a top notch performance.

Meanwhile, Jah Signal’s song “Shinga Muroora” is making waves on the local scene and the musician’s energy on stage has charmed audiences.

The show is being organised by Events Evolution, a company that specialises in lighting, stage production and sound design.

Jah Signal said this show is an opportunity for him to discuss possible collaborations with the two stars.

“I am no longer a musician who gets mesmerised by sharing a stage with big artistes. I am now looking for possible collaborations. Gone are the days when we confined our music to the local market; we need to spread our wings,” he said.

The young and energetic musician has, on several occasions, thrilled fans whenever he performs.

Talent Banda, who is the director of Events Evolution, said they have made sure they balance the show.

“The gig is balanced. You can see that we have the best performers on the line up. I am happy that our local musicians have showed interest as they want also to open discussions for possible collaborations with these international musicians,” he said.

Banda said they wanted also to prove to regional and international artists that Zimbabwe has improved in stage production, lighting and sound design.
