A local events company that was responsible for the just ended Cassper Nyovest show, Events Evolution, has been praised for having one of the best stage set ups this year.
The stage, VIP area and the general ground setting were well laid out. The stage was structured 12 meters wide, 8m deep and the roof at 8m height.
The front edge tip of the stage was shaped like an ‘E’ which is Events Evolution signature design and enabled the performing artists to get closer to their audience from three different points on stage.
The company director Talent Banda said they were trying to match world class standards of stage production.
“At the back of the stage there were Gloshine AS4.81 LED screen strips that worked as a backdrop and were dropped from the MPT roof at symmetrical levels from the centre to the sides. The LED screen strips were further divided from top to bottom connected with LED lights. The same layout spread evenly to the side screens. The mapping of all the LED screens was made possible by the Avolites AI RX4 media server,” he said.
He said a set up like that also enables fans to have a clear visual of what’s happening on stage.
“The lights on stage were spread 36m wide across the face of the stage with interchanging 40 Chauvet slimpar T6 LEDs and 12 400watt blinders. The sound was punchy and beefy from every beat that played throughout the concert,” he said.
Nyovest also hailed the company for the great stage work.
“Zimbabwe thank you for the love and support. I’m also so impressed by the set up. Keep the good work,” he said before he left the stage.
