Business Excellence Awards celebrate a decade of enterprise excellence

The National Business Excellence Awards will celebrate a decade of recognising Zimbabwean businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals contributing to economic growth and social development at a ceremony set for next month.
The awards, now in their 10th year, will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) under the theme “The Powerhouse of Our Nation Edition”, with organisers positioning the event as a celebration of excellence across diverse sectors of society.
The milestone edition will honour businesses and individuals driving Zimbabwe’s development, including entrepreneurs, technology innovators, builders, educators, medical professionals, lawyers, farmers, car dealers and brand developers.
Organisers said the awards would also recognise the contribution of musicians, pastors, churches and liberation heroes, highlighting the role played by different sections of society in creating an environment where businesses and communities can thrive.
“This decade, we honour the businesses and leaders driving Zimbabwe’s economy forward,” organisers said in a statement.
The organisers said the selection process was supported by a team of researchers working with organisations and individuals to identify nominees deserving of national recognition.
The awards come at a time Zimbabwe is intensifying efforts to promote domestic enterprise, entrepreneurship and investment as key drivers of economic transformation.
Organisers said this year’s edition would celebrate both established companies and emerging enterprises that continue to contribute to the national economy through innovation, job creation and value creation.
The ceremony will feature a “Golden Carpet” dress code, with organisers describing the event as a gathering where “greatness meets greatness” and “power meets power” as the country’s leading achievers converge to celebrate excellence.
