Civil Aviation Authority chief executive officer David Chawota has been arrested on corruption allegations.
A source with the National Prosecution Authority confirmed to Business Times that Chawota is facing a number of corruption allegations from radar, labour abuses to resurrecting contracts from 20 years ago that cost the Authority $ 450 000.
This publication is informed that Chawota has since been picked by detectives and is expected to appear in court soon.
