BancABC commits to community development with Gwanda Hospital support

Leading financial services provider, BancABC has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and healthcare support through a recent donation to Gwanda Hospital, aimed at strengthening the institution’s capacity to serve local communities.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, BancABC Bulawayo Branch Manager, Danisa Mpofu, emphasised the importance of supporting healthcare institutions as it contributes to saving lives and honouring roles of the said institutions in improving lives.

Also present was BancABC’s Head of Marketing, Melanie Gumbo, highlighting the bank’s continued investment in meaningful community initiatives.

“We recognise the incredible work that public hospitals do under challenging conditions. This contribution is a small gesture of appreciation, but it comes from a place of deep respect for the role you play in saving and improving lives every day,” Mpofu said.

He said the donation is part of BancABC’s ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts centred on creating sustainable impact and improving the wellbeing of communities across the country.
