The Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC) is today expected to release the ZIFA forensic report.
Well placed sources told BT Sport that the report, which was done by BDO Chartered Accountants, was damning.
They said the report showed a lot of rot that was happening at ZIFA before the SRC intervened by suspending the Felton Kamambo led ZIFA board. Other members who were suspended were Philemon Machana and Bryton Malandule.
The report, they said, unearthed a number of irregularities in the way financial transactions were done by the Kamambo led executive.
The ZIFA Congress, at an extraordinary general meeting held in April last year voted to boot out the Kamambo led board.
Consequently, the world governing body, FIFA, imposed a ban on Zimbabwe .
FIFA said the only way the sanction will be lifted is the reinstatement of the Kamambo-led board.
