Without doubt Braveman Chizvino whose stage name is Baba Harare has grabbed the ‘man of the moment’ tag in local showbiz, with his song “The Reason Why” being an anthem in most public places.

His live shows have recorded some good numbers as the jit song is making waves.

Even a local promoter David Mudzudzu, who is the owner of the famous Club Joy Centre in Machipisa, said the musician has managed to raise the bar with his song.

He will be headlining the open space’s 3rd year celebrations that started on Friday and ends on Sunday.

“Baba Harare has done great work and the musician has managed to raise his bar high. From a man who was being considered a rebel of Jah Prayzah he has done well,” he said.

Baba Harare became popular when he was the lead guitarist for Jah Prayzah. On the song “Eriza” people would sing along with the line “Baba Harare musadaro”.

With the musician being the man of the moment, it is yet to be seen if he will manage to keep the bar high.

Zimbabwe is awash with one hit wonders who have failed to prove their prowess going forward.

“I will continue to work hard releasing songs that will entertain my fans. I am happy that the support is coming from every corner of Harare,” said Chizvino.
