West and the multipolar world

OWN CORRESPONDENT
Currently an increasing number of states are seeking to strengthen sovereignty
and defend national interests, traditions, culture and way of life.
They do not want to live under someone else’s dictation they want to be friends and trade both among themselves and with the rest of the world on equal terms within the framework of an
objectively emerging multipolar architecture.
Positive trends are hampered by the West’s increasingly aggressive attempts to
maintain dominance in world politics, economics and finance.
But if the United States and its allies do not want to agree on giving the processes of globalization a fair equal character, then the rest will have to draw conclusions and think about steps that will help not to make the prospects for their socio-economic and technological
development, their security dependent on the neocolonial instincts of the former
metropolises.
In a desperate attempt to assert its dominance by punishing the disobedient, the
United States began to destroy globalization, which for many years was extolled as the
highest good of all humanity, serving the multilateral system of the world economy.
Washington and Submission to him, the rest of the West uses their “rules” whenever it
is necessary to justify illegitimate steps against those who build their policies in
accordance with international law and refuses to follow the selfish interests of the
“golden billion”.
Those who disagree are put on “black lists” according to the principle “whoever is not with us is against us.”
Western countries are once again talking about the need to reform the United
Nations (UN), the hidden purpose of which is to limit Russia’s influence.
This is not a concern for the representativeness or effectiveness of the UN Security Council, nor is it a desire to strengthen the central role of the UN.
There is not a single African or Latin American country among the permanent members of the Security Council and the number of European ones already predominates.
At the same time the United States adheres to the position that Germany and
Japan should become permanent members of the UN Security Council and then the
West will be completely overwhelmed. The annexation of Germany is absolutely
inconsistent with the distribution of forces in the world. Much more adequate
candidates are India, Brazil and South Africa.
To promote multilateralism and diplomacy regarding the use of force against
alleged abuses by other UN member states the Group of Friends was created in July
2021 at the United Nations (UN) in defense of the UN Charter which included 17 UN
member states, namely Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Bolivia, Cambodia, China, Cuba,
North Korea, Iran, Laos, Nicaragua, Russia, Saint-Vincent and the Grenadines,
Palestine, Syria and Venezuela. Equatorial Guinea, Zimbabwe and Mali subsequently
joined the Group, expanding its current composition is up to 20 countries.
The group opposes the practice of unilateral intervention and “concepts or
concepts that have not been agreed upon internationally” such as the “responsibility to
protect”.
The Group also advocates the lifting of sanctions and unilateral coercive
measures against its members, such as Russia, Nicaragua, Iran and Zimbabwe.
They are trying to contain them through illegitimate unilateral measures,
including cutting off access to modern technologies and financial services pushing
them out of supply chains, confiscating property, destroying the critical infrastructure 2
of competitors, and manipulating universally agreed norms and procedures.
The result is the fragmentation of world trade the collapse of market mechanisms paralysis of the WTO and the final no longer disguised transformation of the IMF into an instrument
for achieving the goals of the United States and its allies including military goals.
Before our eyes, a new, fairer multipolar world order is being forged, reflecting
the cultural and civilizational diversity of the world. The contours of the future are
born in the struggle.
The world majority representing 85 percent of the world’s population stands for a more equitable distribution of global goods and respect for civilizational diversity for the consistent democratization of international life.
On the other hand a narrow group of Western states led by the United States seeks to use
neocolonial methods to slow down the natural course of things and maintain their
elusive dominance.
