Vineyard acquires new hearses

Funeral assurer, Vineyard, on Friday took delivery of four modern hearses as it plans to expand its services to all parts of the country.

Vineyard Funeral Assurance board chairman Samson Mavende said the procurement of the hearse is a payback to their valued clients who have invested their trust in the company.

“The procurement of these vehicles is a continuous effort to sustain our mutually cultivated relationship with our clients, who have invested trust in us and who in essence remain the greatest stakeholders of our company. We strive to continuously complement their investment by meeting to the fullest their expectations of satisfactory services we offer in securing a fortified peace of mind,” Mavende said, while commissioning the hearses.

“This can surely be made possible, thanks to a dedicated team of Vineyard Assurance in harnessing resources aimed at further making a lasting memorable event of the dearly departed family members and friends of our esteemed
clients.”

Speaking at the handover ceremony held in the capital, Vineyard managing director Solomon Chikanda said: “As we carry our mandate with pride and conviction, we saw it fit as a company to purchase four more hearses at a time Zimbabwe cannot ignore us as we provide state of the art services affordable products.  We are now the plan of choice.”

Taka Svosve, the Zimbabwe Association of Funeral Assurance general manager, hailed Vineyard for bringing in the new hearses—the most precious assets in the industry.

He said Vineyard was an ‘obedient baby’ as they were contributing immensely to the growth of the funeral assurance industry.

Guest speaker, Request Machimbira said: “The hearses are evidence of wisdom as promotion doesn’t come before preparedness.”

As part of its growth plans, Vineyard introduced the Zunde Village plan, which has seen funerals becoming easy to handle and amicable for the majority of the rural population.

The company has also rolled out products to cater for the small to medium sector.

The Believer’s Group Plan was also introduced to cater for churches.

Vineyard also introduced STEMPS plan specifically for State entities employees.
