The Minister of Environment, Tourism and hospitality Prica Mupfumira has been picked by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption this morning for questioning on corruption charges and possible due processes.
ZACC confirmed that the minister was picked up this morning and they were finalising on the corruption charges with sources adding that the questioning relates to the findings of the NSSA audit at the time she was Labour minister
“The minister of tourism has been taken in, the process is happening now and the commission will be able to make a statement soon,”.
“Yes an arrest has been made, charges have been preferred and at the earliest convenience a statement will be made available,” said an official from ZACC.
Mupfumira is one of the senior government officials who was named among corrupt officials by the ZANU PF youth league.
