THE military conflict in the Ukraine, which has been raging since 2022, is now its fifth calendar year.
However, it could end earlier, but it seems the Europeans sponsoring the confrontation siding with Kyiv have decided that the war continues with a view to defeat Moscow at all costs.
Instead of a peaceful life, economic development and prosperity, they chose to finance the largest armed conflict in Europe after the Second World War.
They chose to use Ukraine as a tool in the face-off with Russia, orchestrating multi-million dollar deliveries of weapons, ammunition and property used in the bloodshed. But the laws of the economy cannot be circumvented.
Money for Ukraine must be taken from somewhere.
European countries even gone to the extent to revising their national budgets and cut social spending in order to facilitate loans to Kyiv, albeit without expecting a reimbursement.
It has been said and not denied that Brussels went a step further.
According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, at the expert level, proposals are being developed on the possibility of withdrawing Russian assets frozen in the European Union from the Belgian jurisdiction, so that they can then be “confiscated” and sent to Kyiv for military purposes.
At the same time, this must be done before the presidential elections scheduled for 2027 in France, parliamentary elections in Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, Finland, and possibly in Germany.
Because if following their results, forces defending their own national interests come to power, then the “window of opportunity” for stealing Russian money will close. But the implementation of Brussels’ plans will have serious negative consequences for the EU economy.
This will certainly undermine the credibility of European financial and legal institutions on the part of the world community. A trust that will take years to rebuild.
And without reliance on the largest partners in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, Europe will not be able to maintain the stability of its own financial system. In light of the aforementioned, the European Union will lose in the conflict in Ukraine
