Located in the suburb of Glen Lorne in the capital Harare, the Thaton Estate Housing Project is an innovative development designed to set new standards for suburban living in Zimbabwe.
Combining modern architectural designs, state-of-the-art amenities, and eco-friendly principles, this housing project offers residents a perfect balance between luxury and sustainability.
Glen Lorne is widely regarded as one of Harare’s most prestigious residential areas, known for its serene environment, lush landscapes, and stunning views.
The Thaton Estate takes full advantage of this prime location, providing residents with an idyllic retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle.
The Thaton Estate Housing Project is a testament to thoughtful planning and design. The housing units are all crafted to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
Moses Makoni, the Group Quantity Surveyor and Director of Thaton Property, highlighted the innovative aspects of the project during the estate’s showroom opening on Friday.
“This lifestyle estate has 80 units up for sale. We have eight blocks, each with 10 units. The units range from two-bedroomed apartments to single-bedroom options, all featuring top-of-the-range finishes, such as double-glazed windows that minimize noise despite the estate’s proximity to Enterprise Road. This is not just another flats project; it’s a lifestyle development designed with luxury and sustainability in mind,” said Makoni.
Thaton Estate has been developed with a vision to create a thriving, close-knit community. Residents will have access to a range of amenities, including a fully equipped gym, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse perfect for hosting events or gatherings.
For families, the estate provides safe play areas for children and expansive green spaces where they can explore and connect with nature.
“The clubhouse, located at the heart of the estate, caters to all residents, providing a space to unwind and socialize,” added Makoni.
“Additionally, there’s a swimming pool and a basketball court, all contributing to a dynamic lifestyle within the estate.”
Oswell Binha, CEO Africa Roundtable Chairman, expressed his support for the project. “As CEOs, we discuss anything and everything, but ultimately, we transact. It is an honor and privilege for our team to support the Thaton Estate Housing Project. This development represents a beacon of innovation and quality for housing projects in Zimbabwe.”
