The Premier Soccer League (PSL) wraps up this weekend, with the spotlight firmly on the relegation battle as two more teams will join Arenel Movers and Chegutu Pirates, who are already relegated.

With the championship race already decided, all eyes turn to the final round of fixtures to determine which teams will drop to the lower division.

From the trio of Bikita Minerals, Hwange, and Bulawayo Chiefs, two teams will face relegation.

Bikita Minerals, nicknamed “The Lithium Boys,” will host Hwange at Wadzanayi Stadium in Shamva on Saturday. A win for either team could secure their survival, provided Bulawayo Chiefs stumble against Manica Diamonds at the same venue on Sunday.

Other fixtures include Greenfuel taking on Dynamos in Chisumbanje and ZPC Kariba hosting champions Simba Bhora, where Simba will also celebrate their title triumph. FC Platinum faces TelOne in a Midlands derby, while relegated Arenel Movers and Chegutu Pirates bow out of the league with their final matches.

On Sunday, Highlanders, still smarting from recent setbacks, will clash with Yadah at Barbourfields Stadium, while CAPS United welcome Ngezi Platinum Stars to Rufaro Stadium.

The PSL’s final matchday promises high stakes and emotional moments as teams battle for survival and fans say farewell to the relegated sides.
