Post poll violence: Death toll rises to six

Chengetai Zvauya HARARE – Police Senior  Assistant Commissioner  Charity  Charamba told journalists this evening that police had received  a report that  the people  succumbed  to the injuries sustained  in  yesterday’s  skirmish in  the  capital. “The  number of deaths  has risen to  six as they  have succumbed to  injuries and 14 people remain  hospitalised.  The   situation  on the ground  in Harare remains  tense and  we continue to  monitor  it together with  members of the defence  forces,” Charamba said.
