He added: “We believe that our success will be built on a foundation of honesty, transparency, and integrity. We will also ensure that in everything we do, our practices and processes are ethical and environmentally friendly.”

NMBZ board chairman Benedict Chikwanha said the group aims to provide infrastructure which caters for a wide range of clients in various sectors.

“We are excited to launch NMB Properties as a subsidiary of NMBZ Holdings. This move aligns with our strategy to diversify our investment offerings and provide clients with a wider range of investment opportunities.

“Combined with our diligent financial management and a sustainable approach to growth, we are confident in the delivery of NMB Properties for all our stakeholders, be it our shareholders, clients, Government, and private home delivery partners, and the broader stakeholder community. Furthermore, we look forward to collaboration opportunities that will benefit its stakeholders,” Chikwanha said.

Speaking at the same event the guest of honour, Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, Daniel Garwe said the government will work with NMBZ to achieve 2030 goals which will leave no one and no place behind.

“The Ministry of National Housing and Social Amenities endeavours to abide by the notion of social inclusion as one of the key pillars in ensuring that no one is left behind in all housing and social amenities policies, programs, and projects. Such projects by private institutions are highly commendable and we look forward to areas of collaboration in the future,” Garwe said.
