Mulk International Chairman, Shaji Ul Mulk, whose company is also involved in the Zimbabwe Cyber City project and a number of multi-million-dollar ventures in the country says the introduction of the Mulk e-hospital will see thousands of people accessing world class healthcare from well qualified local and international experts.
He said the mission of Mulk International Healthcare is to deliver the best care possible while utilizing cutting-edge technology and a skilled staff of local and global experts.
“In the healthcare sector, now we are very excited by the new e-hospital that we have just launched. In fact, we launched in Zimbabwe, the Mulk Medicare e-Health. That’s in partnership with ProHealth,” he said.
“That’s a local partnership so this Mulk e-Health will now enable anybody from the remotest areas of Zimbabwe to access healthcare through access to the doctors that we have, the hospitals we have. So, at the moment, more than 2,000 doctors on a global level are registered, plus the local doctors, through our partnership,” he added.
Zim Cyber City is the first Mulk International Real Estate project in Zimbabwe which will be managed through its locally registered subsidiary Zimbabwe Global Investments (ZGI) under the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) programme approved by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mulk also said that they have different verticals within the company.
“One is a manufacturing vertical, we have a properties vertical, sports vertical, and then we have the healthcare vertical, basically. So, in all the four verticals, we are making progress. So, if we start with Mulk properties, now as you’re speaking, we have, in addition to the Zim Cyber City, a similar-sized project has been signed in the U.S. and Chicago.”
Tendayi Hlupo-Mamvura, CEO of Zim Cyber City, said the company has made a significant amount of progress and it is the first smart city being developed in Zimbabwe.
“We are developing residential and commercial properties. So, we have made a significant amount of progress. It is the first smart city being developed in Zimbabwe.
“We are leveraging technology to improve lifestyles. So, it will be unparalleled. It will be very different to what people are used to or what people imagine as a gated community.
“I think the thing that’s most important for a lot of people to know, which matters a lot to land owners, is the fact that it is being developed on a freehold title, which will be a sectional title deed in Zimbabwe.” she said.
