Mashonaland West Agricultural Show Society will on Saturday conduct a Breast Cancer campaign to raise awareness on the disease.
The society’s general manager, Brian Vengai said there would be a fun run, meant to promote wellness.
“We just wanted to do something different for the community. We normally make donations to farmers so we thought why not get involved in breast cancer awareness as we approach October,” Vengai said.
Globally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Vengai said the event would include a 21km, 10km and 5km run, zumba and aerobics.
Proceeds from the breast cancer awareness run will be channelled to charity.
