WESTPROP Holdings is preparing to launch the Hills Golf Estate as the property developer continues in its thrust that has seen it focus on developing mixed use luxury lifestyle smart cities including Pomona City and Millennium Park (pictured).
The company developments are tapping into the ever growing US$12 billion mining industry which is creating new money and new entrants into the property market.
The developments are changing the Harare landscape and dovetailing into other developments taking shape in the city.
“We are playing our part in the development of Harare. We are changing the city precincts and developing futuristic cities,” said WestProp CEO Mr Ken Sharpe.
“We are a real estate company involved in the development of mixed use live, work, shop and play luxury lifestyle estates.
“Our goal is to bring to Zimbabwe the Dubai style development that can help propel our motherland into a built-up area, tourist attraction and structures that have capacity to attract our diasporans to invest back home and for foreigners to want to be a part of Zimbabwe,” he said.
Mr Sharpe said he is selling hope to Zimbabwe through participation.
“We are not only providing housing, malls and social amenities. We are providing a lifestyle. We are building communities where people can live, work, shop and play. We are providing luxury and unprecedented beauty and comfort.
“We are planting the seed of hope to affirm that what can be done elsewhere is also possible in Zimbabwe. For us it is time Zimbabweans experience the beauty and splendour of the built up area,” he said.
During a recent interview on upcoming developments, Mr Sharpe gave a hint on the luxurious Hills Golf Estate and the Mall of Zimbabwe.
“We are soon to launch the Hills Golf Estate. It comes with a branded luxury 5 star hotel, branded residences, a luxury old people’s home, PGA standard golf course. We expect to start construction of the Mall of Zimbabwe early next year. I guess the most exciting are penthouses and the 10 floor apartments to be built at Millennium Heights.
“We are really in exciting times and the best is yet to come with the launch of Pomona City 2.0 from mid 2024,” he said.
