A local events management company, Events Evolution has promised to change the face of the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) by providing a state of the art stage at the awards ceremony to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre on March 23.
The event will be hosted by National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) through the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation in partnership with AB Communications, Events Evolution, Dariro Mode, H-Metro and RTG.
Events Evolution is fast becoming a household name with its state of the art equipment, which they hire out for occasions in and outside Harare.
The company director Talent Banda said they wanted to bring something unique on the day of the awards and people should look forward to it.
“Awards are worth celebrating because it takes a lot of hard work to get such recognition. So we are happy to be partnering NAMA this year,” said Banda.
“We are providing sound, stage, lights, screens and also lights for the red carpet. We want to show the world that we are capable of doing and hosting events in Zimbabwe,” he said.
NACZ director Nicholas Moyo upon assuming office said one of his main priorities was to improve the awards ceremony.
