All is set for PR awards

The stage is set for the second Institute of Public Relations and Communication Zimbabwe excellence awards to be held in Harare tonight.
Several corporates and public relations practitioners drawn from across the country will walk tall at the prestigious awards.
An executive director from the Institute of Public Relations and Communication Bridget Mawoko said everything is now in place for the awards ceremony.
“The adjudicators have assessed all the entries and it’s now ally systems go,” Mawoko told Business Times, adding competition was tougher this year.
The Minister of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services Monica Mutsvangwa will be the guest of honour at the prestigious awards while Public Relations expert Yomi Okusanya who is also the president of the African Public Relations Association will grace the event.
The awards ceremony will run under the theme Resilience and Retention –Overcoming hardships and challenges of Covid-19.
PRCZ is a private institution specialising primarily in PR training, media training, presentation training and communication skills.
