Accident claims Zimra employees

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) says some staff members lost their lives in a road traffic accident on Tuesday.
In a statement, the authority said its bus carrying employees was involved in a road traffic accident on its way to Harare from Beitbridge on Tuesday evening.
“The accident resulted in the loss of lives and injuries. Zimra is working with the relevant authorities to assist affected staff members. Details of what transpired are not yet clear at this point as investigations and inquiries are ongoing,” Zimra said.
It said more details would be availed once it has confirmed with the relevant authorities. “Our deepest condolences go out to the families of those who have passed on and our prayers and best wishes are with those still receiving medical attention,” Zimra said.
