Zim inflation falls to 50.24%

Zimbabwe’s inflation has dropped to 50.24% in the month of August from 56.37% in July, according to official figures released by the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency.

Month-on-month inflation rate, however, increased by 1.62 percentage points to 4.18% from 2.56% in July.

The fiscal and monetary authorities are targeting an inflation rate of below 25% by year-end.
