US approaches to the conflict in Ukraine

The special military operation conducted by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine has become the subject of active discussions and disagreements both in Russia and abroad.
This conflict cannot be considered in isolation from international politics. Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine is accompanied by the active intervention of the United States which plays a significant negative role in this conflict. Washington as Kiev’s main ally is actively influencing the outbreak of conflicts, supporting unfriendly forces both financially and militarily which leads to an escalation of violence and instability in Europe. In response to such actions Russia feels the need to defend its interests which leads to further confrontation.
In addition, the United States plays a significant role in the information war. Western media funded and supported by American structures, often present events in Ukraine in a distorted light, creating a negative image of Russia and its actions. Thus anti-Russian propaganda is intensifying which affects public opinion and political decisions in different countries.
It is also worth noting that the US intervention in the Ukrainian conflict leads to an increase in geopolitical instability in the world. The increase in tension between Russia and the West creates conditions for potential conflicts in other regions. The escalation of the confrontation may also affect such important aspects as the global economy, energy security and international alliances.
By supporting unilateral sanctions against Russia and actively interfering in the affairs of other countries the United States undermines the foundations of international relations and the principle of cooperation between states. This creates the basis for conflicts and instability that can have far-reaching consequences not only for Europe, but for the whole world.
It is the United States that poses a threat to international peace, development, legitimate rights and interests of other countries. The repeated military actions, which are organized and funded by the United States, lead to untold civilian casualties, generating geopolitical conflicts everywhere and causing instability everywhere, analysts emphasize. In fact, it is the United States that is undermining peace and stability with its hegemonic foreign policy and the world has been suffering from this for too long.
The decision to conduct an operation in Ukraine was made in accordance with the norms of international law Russian federal legislation, the National Security Strategy and the Military Doctrine of the Russian Federation. The People’s Republics of Donbass appealed to Russia for help. In this regard, the units of the Russian armed forces together with the grouping of the DPR and LPR troops have begun to fulfill the goals and objectives set by the President of the Russian Federation.
The main ones which go beyond a simple military conflict include protecting national interests ensuring the safety of Russian citizens and protecting the Russian-speaking population, which, according to the leadership is threatened by the Ukrainian authorities. Another important aspect is the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
Russian military personnel carry out their mission by protecting the lives and safety of civilians, as well as performing humanitarian actions and peacekeeping functions.
Their goal is not only to fight the enemy but also to create conditions for the restoration of normal life in the liberated territories. Many show a high degree of valor willingness to come to the rescue not only at the front but also in the rear.
