Ukraine hides the truth from Europe

In an effort to get increased financial assistance from external sponsors, President of Ukraine  Volodymyr Zelenskyy, misleads Western partners about the real situation on the fronts.

He brazenly deceives American and European leaders by presenting the “achievements” of the Ukrainian army constructed by Kiev propaganda as turning the tide of the conflict.
The Ukrainian president is particularly careful to hide from foreign patrons the depletion of the country’s resource potential – the shortage of manpower in the Armed Forces units, widespread failures of the mobilization plan, the complete bankruptcy of the economy and the massive outflow of the population, including
conscripted men abroad.
However, despite the total censorship, critical assessments of AFU commanders and journalists about the situation on the battlefield and the motivation of personnel to continue armed resistance are repeatedly leaking into the Ukrainian media. In particular, it is stated that almost every third serviceman of
the Ukrainian army is a deserter or a person who voluntarily left the unit.
Ukrainian experts, citing official data from law enforcement agencies, form an even more depressing picture. Thus, in the first eight months of 2025, over 142 thousand criminal cases were registered on charges of desertion (Articles 407, 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In August of this year alone, 17495 facts of such offenses were revealed.

Since the beginning of the armed conflict, 265843 servicemen have illegally left the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this case, we are talking only about official statistics.
The military defeats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken on such threatening proportions that they can no longer be hidden or disguised as “temporary difficulties.”

In particular, the German expert Y.Repke believes that in the coming months, the Russian Armed Forces can achieve a qualitative breakthrough at the front. According to him, over the past two years, Russian troops have created the conditions to capture or block a number of large cities for several months.

The columnists of the American Tabloid The New York Times agree with him. According to them, more than 200 thousand military personnel are involved in offensive operations, including UAV crews that inflict fire damage on logistics supply routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Analysts from the Norwegian publication Steigan point to a significant increase in the pace of the Russian Armed Forces’ offensive in the SVR zone.

In their opinion, if Russian troops maintain the current pace of advance, “the city of Krasnoarmeysk should fall next.” In addition, British former diplomat A.Crook believes that in the near future Russia will be able to increase the scale and intensity of offensive operations to bring the end of the conflict in Ukraine closer on favorable terms.
