The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has suspended Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe after he breached the team’s camp code of conduct.
In a statement, ZIFA confirmed that the centre-back had violated team regulations, resulting in disciplinary action in line with established protocols.
“Hadebe has been found in breach of the team’s camp code of conduct,” the association said.
“Following this, a disciplinary decision has been taken in line with team regulations. He has been suspended for one match and will miss the final of the Mukuru Four-Nation Tournament against Zambia. The player has since apologised to the team and the Association and has accepted the disciplinary outcome.”
The suspension means Hadebe will miss Zimbabwe’s final clash against Zambia at the Obed Itani Stadium in Francistown, Botswana, on Tuesday.
