SA DJ Sbu heads to Byo

TENDAI BHEBE IN BULAWAYO

Popular South African disc jockey and entrepreneur, Sibusiso Leope  also known as DJ Sbu (pictured) is  expected  in Bulawayo next month as one of the speakers at the Hustlers Summit.

DJ Sbu is also scheduled to perform at the summit which is being organised by Maltive hub.

The event, which  will be held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair grounds, will run under the theme: “Ignite. Inspire. Innovate.”.

Nkosana Mazibisa the convenor of the Hustlers Summit said the event is meant to create networks among business people in the city.

“If you want to be the epitome of the best hustler in life, what better way than to be part of the Hustlers Summit. We say let’s come and congregate together, share experience, share advice and networking.

“It’s also an opportunity to learn from those who have been on the same path that you are walking on,” he said.

Mazibisa said people will network with the view of enhancing their businesses with deals from other entrepreneurs.

“We all grew up in Bulawayo. Whenever there was an economic activity  in the city, we would go to the trade fair to eat and enjoy the ride on the big wheel.

“But as we grew older we felt out of place because of big companies.

“The business opportunities on offer will include sponsorships, partnerships, exhibitions and speaking slots where people will network with the view of enhancing their businesses with deals from other entrepreneurs.”

Mazibisa said companies owned by young people were still struggling and the summit is the bridge between huge corporates, those that are starting and those that are about to scale up.

DJ Sbu has been known for his alter-ego, kwaito superstar Mzekezeke and his entrepreneurial acumen with MoFaya, where he has grown from strength to strength, introducing new flavours last year has been a notable feat.

This will not be the first time that he comes to the country for a business and entrepreneurship talk session as he once did so in 2016 when he graced The Shift in Harare.
