Ramaphosa to officially open ZAS tomorrow

South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, is set to officially open the 115th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) tomorrow.

Running under the theme “Building Bridges, Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Commerce”, this year’s show is centered around five sections: Agri-produce, Tobacco, Cotton, Livestock, and Commercial Exhibition. The structure underscores the importance of collaboration and partnerships in driving agricultural growth and development.

The development was revealed by Information Minister Jenfan Muswere who stated that the event has attracted participants from regional and international countries, including South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palau, and China.

“The show is organised around five sections namely Agri-produce, Tobacco, Cotton, Livestock, and Commercial Exhibition. Foreign participants from South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palau and China are exhibiting at this year’s event,” Muswere said.
