President Mnangagwa reassigns ministers in mini-Cabinet shake-up

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reshuffled three ministers in a mini-Cabinet announcement made yesterday.
Dr Jenfan Muswere has been appointed Minister of Skills, Audit and Development, replacing Professor Paul Mavima, who assumes the role of Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities. Zhemu Soda now takes over as Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, succeeding Dr Muswere.
The announcement was made by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya.
“In terms of Section 104, Subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency the President, Cde. Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has re-assigned the under-listed Ministers as follows: Dr Jenfan Muswere as Minister of Skills, Audit and Development; Dr Paul Mavima as Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities; and Dr Zhemu Soda as Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services. The re-assignments are with immediate effect,” Dr Rushwaya said.
