National Handling Services (NHS) says it is strategically positioned to seize emerging opportunities in the aviation sector and beyond, even amid economic challenges, the company’s board chairperson, Godwin Nyengedza, has said.
Speaking at NHS’s fourth annual general meeting, Nyengedza emphasised that the company’s strengths and strategic initiatives will underpin long-term growth.
“NHS is strategically positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities within the aviation sector and beyond. We remain mindful of economic headwinds, but we will navigate them with agility and enthusiasm, leveraging our core strengths and engaging closely with all stakeholders,” Nyengedza said.
He added that the company’s focus on operational efficiency, innovation, and customer service would maintain its competitive edge and reinforce its position as the leading ground handling provider in the region.
“Our commitment to operational efficiency, technological innovation, and customer-centric solutions is sustaining our market leadership. I am confident that our strategic initiatives, coupled with strong execution capabilities, will allow us to build on past lessons and deliver sustainable long-term value for both shareholders and employees,” he said.
Nyengedza further highlighted NHS’s commitment to financial discipline, balancing growth with stability, while integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
“We remain steadfast in our financial discipline, ensuring a balance between growth and stability. But our responsibility extends beyond financial metrics. We have strengthened our ESG commitments, actively working to minimise our environmental footprint, enhance safety, and contribute positively to the communities we serve,” he said.
