At least  415 exhibitors have  so far confirmed their participation at this year’s edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), Business Times can report.

The exhibitors are from 11 countries namely Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania, Angola, United States of America, United Kingdom, Japan, United Arab Emirates and Belarus, ZITF Company CEO Nicholas Ndebele told Business Times.

The premier trade showcase will run from April 25 to 29 in Bulawayo under the theme, Transformative Innovation, Global Competitiveness.

“We are excited about ZITF 2023 and we are anticipating strong growth both in participation and attendance. Most importantly we are predicting a high quality show with very strong emphasis on latest trends and innovations,” Ndebele said, adding, “In terms of uptake of space, we have 93% which is better than last year where at the same time we were at 86%.”

Last year, ZITF was overwhelmed by the large turnout of exhibitors to the extent that it  ran out of exhibiting space.

“We regard this ZITF as a unique platform that Zimbabwe offers to the world to showcase the best that the country can provide in multisector fashion. So we have the Bulawayo agricultural show running alongside the main exhibition showcasing livestock as well as small grains and so forth,” Ndebele said, adding they were still accepting registration by exhibitors and business delegates.

“So, one may participate as an exhibitor or may o participate as a business delegate. We are still registering more and more participants in that regard.”
