Former President Barack Obama says today’s elections will be “close” adding to experts’ prediction that it will remain neck to neck to the wire

Obama has been on the campaign trail ahead of this election calling voters to vote for current Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.

“Folks, this election is going to be close,” the former President said.

“In some States, just a handful of votes in every precinct could decide the winner so you need to get out there and vote.”

Obama’s wife and former First Lady, Michelle, has also been campaigning for Harris and Waltz in different States.

Voters are already queueing and voting in Detroit with analysts saying Michigan remain one of the swing states that can decide the election.

The presidential race is looming over the whole nation, but is especially close in Michigan, one of seven key swing states this cycle. Polling in Michigan is close enough that it’s impossible to predict the outcome. And that’s not the only hot contest.

Polls opened at 7am and is set to close at 8pm.

Former President Trump and current Vice President Harris have made frequent visits to Michigan in the last few days, a sign of the State’s importance ahead of the polls.

Experts have also confirmed this election remain neck to neck and is not easy to predict who will triumph and win the White House keys.

In one of his last campaign messages, Trump said : “We are just one day away from the best jobs, the biggest paycheque and the brightest economic future the world has ever seen—but you must get out and VOTE!”

Harris on her part say this election means a lot to the American people adding returning Trump to White House will be a mistake.
