The Institute of Social Development Practices (ISDP) has entered into strategic partnerships with the Centre for Organization Leadership and Development (COLD), Fate Consultancy, and GEM Consulting to strengthen leadership capacity under the Ascend Leadership Development Program (ALDP).

According to the ALDP Communications and Liaison Manager, Petronella Muungani, the program is designed to address leadership gaps in development initiatives and provide participants with practical skills and knowledge to drive positive change.

“The ALDP program focuses on equipping leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive development initiatives effectively,” she said, adding that the ALDP was designed to support government-led skills development initiatives, particularly those being spearheaded by the Ministry of Skills Audit and Development.

Muungani said through this partnership, ISDP, COLD, Fate Consultancy, and GEM Consulting will leverage their collective expertise to deliver a high-quality program that meets the needs of development professionals.

“This partnership demonstrates the commitment of ISDP and its partner organizations to advancing development initiatives and promoting skills growth.”

Analysts contend that this partnership can yield positive contributions towards Zimbabwe’s development agenda.
