Integrated Properties secures triple ISO certification

Integrated Properties, a leading real estate firm, has successfully secured triple ISO certification from the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ), becoming the first real estate company in Zimbabwe to attain the globally recognised “triple crown” of international standards, Business Times can report.
The certifications include ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management, and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety.
The achievement is expected to strengthen the company’s operational efficiency while assuring stakeholders of Integrated Properties’ commitment to service excellence, environmental stewardship, and employee wellbeing.
Speaking at the certification handover ceremony in Harare on Friday, Standards Association of Zimbabwe Director General Cosmos Mukoyi warned that businesses that fail to embrace internationally recognised standards risk being left behind in an increasingly competitive global economy.
Addressing industry executives and stakeholders at the event, Mukoyi described the certification as a landmark milestone for Zimbabwe’s property sector and challenged other firms to follow suit.
“In an increasingly globalised economy, ‘good enough’ is no longer enough,” Mukoyi said.
“I challenge everyone in the capital, financial and property markets to emulate this deliberate investment. You must standardise or risk being overtaken by global competition. By leveraging service quality, environmental consciousness, and workplace health and safety as competitive advantages, companies can unlock a differential dividend that secures survival locally, regionally and globally.”
Integrated Properties made history by becoming the only real estate company in Zimbabwe to attain the trio of globally recognised operational standards.
Mukoyi noted that the adoption of such rigorous frameworks is no longer merely a compliance exercise but a strategic tool for long-term business sustainability.
He added that modern consumers and international investors increasingly demand strong commitments to environmental sustainability, workplace safety and consistent service delivery.
“Protecting the workforce so that every person returns home safe every day is just as important as delivering reliable and world-class services,” he said.
Mukoyi commended Integrated Properties for demonstrating visionary leadership by voluntarily subjecting its operations to the stringent global certification process.
According to Mukoyi, the decision has already positioned the company favourably within both local and regional markets.
“It is no coincidence that Integrated Properties has scooped several credible awards in the local and regional markets, thanks to its voluntary and history-making triple certification for Zimbabwe’s real estate sector,” he said.
“Their success is not a stroke of luck—it is the result of an organisation built on a solid foundation of globally recognised quality and operational ISO standards.”
The milestone reflects a broader corporate governance approach that integrates quality service delivery, environmental responsibility and strict workplace safety standards.
By aligning its operations with internationally recognised frameworks, Integrated Properties has strengthened its ability to respond to emerging global business risks while building trust among clients, investors and regulators.
Integrated Properties chief executive Dr Mike Juru said the certification validates the founding principles on which the company was built.
“Sixteen years ago, Integrated Properties was founded on a singular and profound premise—that the Zimbabwean real estate market deserved a partner capable of combining deep technical expertise with uncompromising ethical standards,” Juru said.
“Today, we are not merely celebrating an operational milestone; we are validating our foundational values and redefining the landscape of opportunity for our stakeholders.”
The triple ISO certification is expected to enhance Integrated Properties’ competitiveness as Zimbabwe’s property sector increasingly aligns with global standards in quality management, environmental sustainability and occupational safety.
