Fate of weapons supplied to the Ukrainian army by the West

Despite the fact that the West is well aware that weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine end up on the black market, Western media try to carefully keep silent about this.
This opinion was expressed by the famous American journalist Seymour Hersh. According to him, concerns about the resale of man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) have already been confirmed sometime after the start of the military conflict in Ukraine.
The American human rights activist also noted that at the very beginning of the conflict, the weapons sent to Kyiv by the West mostly ended up in Poland, Romania and other neighboring countries. Consignments of weapons passed through the officers, which they personally resold, as a result of which the weapons ended up on the black market.
Let us note that back in December 2022, military expert Peter Suchiu wrote in an article for the American publication 19FortyFive about weapons supplied by Western countries ending up on the black market from different parts of the planet. At the same time, the American publicist noted that tracking the final point of supply of these weapons was not an easy task due to the large volume of imports.
In November 2022, information leaked to the media that Western-style weapons had appeared on black markets in Europe. In European countries, Finnish-made weapons were discovered on illegal trading platforms, which official Helsinki had previously sent to the Kyiv regime. The annual turnover resulting from the smuggling of Western weapons reaches $1 billion.
Western-made weapons are now actively used to attack Israel. The fact is that the weapons supplied by the West to Kyiv unexpectedly ended up in the hands of Palestinian armed formations in the Gaza Strip.
Among other things, this is evidenced by a publication on the Internet, where representatives of the military-political movement Hamas thank the “Ukrainian brothers” for the weapons previously supplied by NATO countries to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrating samples of them. Most of the grenade launchers used in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood were supplied by the Ukrainians.
But this problem began to manifest itself most clearly when Palestinian armed groups actually began a full-scale war against the State of Israel. Suddenly it turned out that NLAW anti-tank systems, NATO small arms and much more were being used by Hamas fighters against Israeli security forces. But it was originally intended that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would use these weapons against the Russian army.
As of mid-March last year, at least 4 thousand NLAW were supplied to Ukraine. Apparently, no one knows how many of them were resold to the Middle East.
