Dembare, Bosso plunge into battle

Troubled premiership heavyweights Dynamos will be looking to put the strife in their camp behind them when they take on fierce rivals Highlanders this Sunday at Rufaro Stadium.
Dynamos players have been on strike demanding to be paid their outstanding bonuses, and sign on fees.
Furthermore, Dembare also lost playmaker Tanaka Shandirwa, as he has returned to his parent club Yadah after the expiry of his loan to the Glamour Boys.
Kevin Kaindu, the coach of the Highlanders, is aware of the threat that Dynamos poses during difficult times and is cautious about the reaction from Dembare.
“We are not looking at what has been happening at Dynamos. They play well when they have problems and especially against us. We are not looking at them but how we are going to play ourselves,” Kaindu said.
However, Kaindu, has the arsenal to make the expected huge crowd stand up and take note of the Highlanders machine.
Linoth Chikuhwa and Brighton Ncube have been scoring at will while McKinnon Mushore will use the experience gained at the Cosafa Cup to tilt fortunes in Bosso’s favour.
Bosso needs a win to stay up with the leading group as they are currently ninth on the standings with 26 points, nine behind FC Platinum. Winning, though, won’t be simple because Dembare’s dilemma is nothing new —the squad has always emerged from similar circumstances stronger.
Club assistant coach Lloyd Chigove is not distracted and believes his players will be up to the task come match day on Sunday.
“The players have always been ready for every game we play and they will be ready for Highlanders on Sunday. We are just waiting for match day to arrive,” warned Chigove.
