Business Times scribe scoops prestigious award

The Business Times’ Deputy Editor, Livingstone Marufu, was named second runner-up in the Media Coverage category at the 2025 Capital Markets Awards, held in the capital Harare last week.
The award, which recognises excellence and quality journalism in Zimbabwe, further cements Business Times’ reputation as a market leader in business, financial and economic reportage
Organised annually by the Capital Markets Association of Zimbabwe (CMAZ), the awards celebrate outstanding contributions to the country’s media and financial sectors.
The latest accolade adds to another prestigious award for Marufu, who just last month received the Media Impact Award for Retail, Wholesale, and Consumer Affairs at the Confederation of Zimbabwe Retailers’ 11th Edition National Retailers and Wholesalers Awards.
