Business Times scribe scoops prestigious Award

The Business Times’ photojournalist, Aaron Ufumeli, was named the the best Photography / Visuals Journalist of the Year at the National Journalism and Media Awards (NJAMA), organised by the  Zimbabwe Union of Journalists.

The awards ceremony was held in the capital Harare last week.

The award, which celebrates excellence and quality journalism in the country, underlines the publication’s status as a force to reckon with.

In congratulating Afumeli, the Editor of Business Times, a market leader in business, financial and economic reportage, Phillimon Mhlanga, said: “(Aaron) Afumeli’s dedication is truly inspiring. He has continuously  created powerful, informative   and impactful visuals. His work is a shining example of excellent journalism.”
