Business Times, AEDS host 2026 Economic Outlook breakfast meeting in Bulawayo

The Business Times, in partnership with African Economic Development Strategies (AEDS), is hosting its 2026 Economic Review and Outlook breakfast meeting today at Cresta Churchill Hotel in Bulawayo.
The event will feature Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor, Dr John Mushayavanhu, as the Guest of Honour. He is set to deliver the keynote address, providing insights into the central bank’s milestone achievements, challenges, and future policies aimed at reinforcing macroeconomic stability.
Professor Gift Mugano, Executive Director of AEDS, will serve as the main speaker for the event.
Discussions will be further enriched by a panel of respected industry and policy experts, including Dr Shepherd Chawira, CEO of Shepco Holdings; Dr James Goddard , the Principal JR Goddard Contracting, ; Professor Laurine Chikoko, Executive Director at Midlands State University; and Pretty Nyati, Chief Economist at AEDS.
The breakfast meeting promises to offer critical perspectives on Zimbabwe’s economic trajectory for 2026 and beyond.
