All set for prayer marathon for Zimbabwe

Millions of people are expected to take part in a prayer marathon to offer up prayers for Zimbabwe on Friday and Saturday.
Vessels of Virtue, in collaboration with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, Global Intercessors, Audacious Media, and numerous other churches, is organizing the virtual event, which will run under the theme “The Enthronement of Jesus Christ.”
“This is an open invitation to all to participate in the upcoming call to pray for our beloved Zimbabwe. Vessels of Virtue has partnered with Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, Global Intercessors, Audacious Media, and many other churches to pray as the body of Christ.
“We believe that we are on the brink of the dawn of a new season for our country and we are calling on all to stand and pray so as to play our part in promoting and transforming our nation.
“We are standing on the shoulders of all generals who have stood and are still standing in the gap and joining our faith in unity and love as we ask God to command a blessing over the land of Zimbabwe,” the organisers said.
“This is because we would like to put Christ at the centre of it and we want to surrender to his Lordship over Zimbabwe. The prayer marathon will be hosted on the Global Intercessors ZOOM platform and it will be live streamed on Vessels of Virtue Social Media handles for 24 hours starting on Friday 10th of November midnight ending on Saturday midnight. Several prayer leaders will be leading the eight segments of prayer within the 24hours.The Prayer leaders have been drawn from Zimbabwe and across the globe. The call is for Zimbabweans to pray wherever they are located.”
Activities on the prayer marathon will include fasting, repentance, prayer, reading the word, speaking over the land, worshipping, prophesying, people gathering in groups and joining in prayer and breaking of bread in the last hour of the 24hours of the prayer marathon.
